Be it in a written paper or a report for class , or even if it’s written in it’s spelled out form,e.g., onigiri -it takes an article— Ex: It’s an onigiri. If you want to still be proud or your cultural food. But, keep in mind, most if not all American English style guides are going to want you , the writer,to use the English version of your “unique” cultural noun(s). Learning the ending sounds does two things, 1 helps #Esl learners properly pronounce the vowel a,e, I, o, u sounds along with the consonant sounds. And that is important in the beginning stages of reading or speaking–specifically for ESL students,and 2, helps ESl students become successful readers.
Learning the words plus the sentences is important.
Here are today’s beginning reader #sentences :
1.Let’s make a bet?
2.Can you get me a drink?
3.Let’s ride on a jet plane.
4.Let me play, too, please?
5.Catch a fish with the net.
6.I have a pet snake.
7.Set the table ,would you!.
8.My father is an animal vet.
9.Cats don’t like to get wet.
10.Are you finished , yet?
