English Language – Basics and Grammar Alphabet Short Sounds | You’ve Been Doing Them Wrong Some of us have fallen into the trap of pronouncing letters wrong! Example: The natural short “F” sound is “ffffffffff–not “fuh–fuh.” @AkashVukoti , even your “O” sound is off. That’s the British “O”–not the American “O” as in “AHHH.” #ABCphonics #mext #english #sounds

Today we’re going to do some “et” family words :
今日、私たちはいくつかの「et」家族の言葉をするつもりです:
bet , get , jet , let , net , pet , set , vet , wet , yet
Learning the ending sounds does two things, 1 helps #Esl learners properly pronounce the vowel a,e, I, o, u sounds along with the consonant sounds. And that is important in the beginning stages of reading or speaking–specifically for ESL students, and 2, helps ESl students become successful readers.
Learning the words plus the sentences is important.
Here are today’s beginning reader #sentences :
1.Let’s make a bet?
2.Can you get me a drink?
3.Let’s ride on a jet plane.
4.Let me play, too, please?
5.Catch a fish with the net.
6.I have a pet snake.
7.Set the table ,would you!.
8.My father is an animal vet.
9.Cats don’t like to get wet.
10.Are you finished , yet?
